I'm Guro, a software engineer graduating in June 2024 with an extensive five-year Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Tromsø, Norway. My academic journey has been a combination of Bachelor's and Master's studies, equipping me with a solid foundation and advanced skills in the ever-evolving field of computer science.

When I'm not working, you'll find me exploring the great outdoors. Norway's breathtaking landscapes are perfect for mountain hiking, skiing, and embracing the simplicity of camping in the wild. As part of the Protteam, I've had the opportunity to contribute to the development of the Prottiming-UG algorithm, which is a key feature of our ProttimingUG SaaS offering. My focus has been on driving best industry practices and improving efficiency.

My responsibilities also have included maintaining our Protteam website to ensure it accurately represents our state-of-the-art services, and team capabilities.
​
In addition to my web management duties, I've played a pivotal role in refining our internal systems, making our project management processes more streamlined for Protteam Digital Solutions projects. This effort has not only enhanced our project execution but has also contributed to a more unified and effective team dynamic amongst our team and external contractors.

Managing stakeholder engagement has been another crucial aspect of my role, where I've aimed to strengthen our client relationships by consistently exceeding their expectations. My involvement in internal projects further reflects my dedication to fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence within our team.
Summer internship for DIPS AS.
DIPS AS is a software company that develops health technology and provides digital tools for Norwegian hospitals, they create solutions that provide clinical value for over 100,000 users in the healthcare service.

The team I was a part of redeveloped a web-based booking system, utilizing C# and .NET frameworks. This project was driven by the objective to enhance the application's performance and user interface. Our goal was focused on streamlining backend functionalities and refining the frontend design, leading to a improvement in system efficiency and user engagement.
